The “fresco street” project officially opened in November 2018. After more than 3 months of construction, the project was completed before the extremely positive reception of everyone. 19 paintings on the arch of the railway bridge on Phung Hung Street are created from the drawings of artists from Vietnam and Korea. Previously, the project was “covered”. The reason is that a number of works by Vietnamese artists were not accepted by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and requested to be edited or replaced.

19 paintings depicting the past lives of an old Hanoi. Here, visitors can see the General Department, the women carrying flowers, the jingling trains, the New Year’s gifts… the things that are far back in the past. The murals are painted with PU paint and Golden acrylics, with a lifespan of 5 to 10 years. Before painting, the painting materials will be treated with a waterproof layer behind.
